Colonial Kids Camp - No Camp Scheduled for 2012

What was it like to be a kid in 18th century Colonial Virginia? To have heard Patrick Henry's famous "Give Me Liberty" speech? Come spend five mornings with us and find out!

Tour St. John's Church to see how you would have dressed, played, and lived in Colonial Virginia! Learn to churn butter, decorate a floor cloth, stencil designs, create watercolor paintings, uncover Richmond's architecture, and how to play and dance like you're living in 18th century Virginia! Tour and explore historic Church Hill, "meet" famous personalities buried in St. John' Church's graveyard, make a colonial wig and participate in the Second Virginia Convention!

Five-day camp ~ Snacks and supplies included in fees. Please bring a bagged lunch. The Colonial Kids summer camp takes place over a five-day period. Through hands-on activities and creative expression, students will explore the ideal of liberty and learn what life was like for someone living in the 18th century. Registration Information:
  Audience: Rising 3rd – rising 5th grades
  2012 Cost: No summer camp is scheduled for 2012
  Pre-registration is required.
 

Payment Policy: Camp must be paid in advance. Payment should be mailed with the registration form.

Summer Reenactment Season
Join us every Sunday from May 27th through September 2nd, as well as July 4th, for a thrilling performance.

Tickets distributed starting at 1:00 pm. Patriotic music begins at 1:30 pm. Reenactment program begins at 2:00 pm.
